Truth Ellipse (15 Series) Single Arm Casement Operator 9-1/2" Arm (Left Hand)

 The Truth Hardware (AmesburyTruth) 15 Series Ellipse Left Hand 9-1/2" Single Arm Casement Window Operator (15.31) is designed for use in casement windows with complimentary AmesburyTruth 14 Series Casement Window Hinges.  Commonly referred to as a window crank, window mechanism, or window opener, the Truth 15.31 left handed window operator is engineered for window sashes weighing no more than 48 lbs. (22 kg), measuring between 20" to 24" (508 mm - 610 mm) wide, and up to 65" (1651 mm) high.

LOOK FOR THE STAMP

Commonly found with 40049 stamped on the arm. Alternatively, you may find the following stamp(s) on the base of the operator: 45135.

RECOMMENDED SCREWS 

Wood: #10 x 1" Phillips, Flat Head, Sheet Metal Screws. PVC & Metal: #10 Phillips, Flat Head Screws (length and thread type to be determined by profile).

COMPATIBLE 

Interchangeable with Acme (132104) Traditional Single Arm 9-1/2" Casement Window Operators.

 TIP

To determine the handing (i.e. left hand or right hand) of the operator, identify the side of the casement window that contain the locks when viewing the window from the interior, or determine the side that contains the hinges when viewing the window from the exterior.
