P1 Original Edition Vacuum Lifter

Wood's Powr-Grip®'s most popular lifter, the P1 lifter series is ideal for working with flat, curved, and textured materials such as glass, sheet metal, and insulated metal panels. The versatility of this rotator/tilter in combination with a variety of choices for models aims to help you increase productivity and reliability on the construction site or on the manufacturing floor.

 ROTATOR & TILTER 

The P1 Original Edition Lifter Series features manual 180° rotation and 90° tilt.

The Wood's Powr-Grip® P1 Channel Lifter Original Edition (P1DC) offers manual 180° rotation, with locking at each 1/4 turn and 90° tilt between upright and flat. Delivering a full range of motion in the shop or at the construction site, the P1DC features automatic latching in the upright position (when in the centered rotation position).

The P1 lifter series is a popular choice among glaziers, sheet metal installers, and also ice skating facilities.  When used in the context of changing arena / ice rink glass, the P1 lifter series is a versatile, compact machine that is often hoisted by weight rated chain using a custom fabricated lateral extension bar, allowing a wider range of motion and reach for facility forklifts to raise replacement pieces of heavy laminated glass while installers position the unit into place.  Check out the videos section for more information!
