Dressing Stone, For Diamond Layered Tubular Bits

This dressing stone is used to refinish diamond layered tubular straight shank glass drill bits affected by hot spots caused by excessive heat build up.  Using a drill press, diamond layered glass drill bits should be pressed approximately 1/8" into the dressing pad to help remove cutting edge imperfections and keep your glass drill bits running at optimal performance.  We recommend applying this technique no more than three times in total to effected bits.

These dressing stones are available in 2.5" and 6" diameters.
