The Commercial Tin Side Detector (Model # TS1320) incorporates several new features requested by users of previous tin side detector models.

The lamp is more durable and energy efficient with more definitive test results than previous models. It also incorporates a stencil insert that makes it easier to identify the tin side of glass in well lit environments.

A new rugged bulb design and protective rubber boot make this meter much more durable - solving the biggest complaint users had with competing models. 

The momentary power switch allows users to pulse the lamp, making it much easier to see the tin side glow. However, the most clever feature of the new commercial model is the patent-pending stencil insert that mounts behind the lamp. With the removable stencil insert in place, it is possible to read the words "TIN SIDE" on the edge of the glass when placed on the tin surface - even in well-lit environments.
